Michelle Tea is an author and literary arts organizer whose work explores bisexuality, queer culture, feminism, working-class experiance and the political remifications of sex-work, among others issues. Ms. Tea writes in genres ranging from poetry to nonfiction, and is the co-founder of the Sister Spit spoken word tour. Her books include "Valencia," "Rent Girl," "The Beautiful" and "Rose of No Man's Land." Originally from Boston, she currently lives in San Francisco.
